Rafting
We’ll head north after breakfast, starting a wonderful day on a winding
mountain road through the Toros Mountains, through villages, pine forests
and amazing views in all directions. The road will lead us to KANORAFTING’s
rafting site. After reorganizing and a brief training session by
KANORAFTING’s
team, we’ll go rafting on the Köprülü River. The route crosses a beautiful
nature reserve, passes through traditional villages and one of the most
impressive river canyons in Turkey. After an extensive lunch on the
riverbank we’ll continue on, incorporate body rafting, water games and more.
Rafting commences only after everyone has been fully trained, and guide
selected for each raft. An international, professional team member from
KANORAFTING will accompany the group.
Rafting does not require any skills or previous knowledge and suits everyone,
starting at age 6.

River to the impressive heights of the summit of the Toros Mountains. After
driving through the towering forests of pine, we’ll visit ageless villages
and taste the local hospitality by drinking Turkish çay (tea).
We’ll eat a lunch as expansive as the Turkish Sultan, and then afterwards
continue riding along ancient dirt roads above impressive canyons, bridges
and water channels, until finally stopping for a view of the canyons,
forests and spectacular valleys below.

A Day of Rafting & Jeeps in the Köprülü Canyon
Before leaving the hotel, we’ll split up into two groups – both groups will
experience both activities. Group A will leave by bus to the Köprülü Canyon.
After the briefing, we will go rafting (approximately 3 hours as described
above). Group B will leave by bus to Aspendos, where we’ll obtain our jeeps
and cross the Köprülü River above the Aspendos Dam and drive alongside it
through fields in a characteristic rural Turkish landscape. We’ll stop in an
authentic village where we’ll have tea and gözleme on Ali’s terrace, which
overlooks the Köprülü Mountains.

KANORAFTING
resort. Both groups meet for an expansive and rich lunch, BBQ style. After
the meal the groups will switch activities and return to the hotel when
finished.
